Indian River CSA Camp 47 offers two types of membership----Compatriot membership and Legionnaire membership.

 

Compatriot membership

 

Compatriot membership is open to males who are at least twelve years of age and are either lineal or collateral descendants of those who served honorably in the Confederate States of America Army, Navy, or State Militia to the end of the war, or who died in prison or while in actual service, or who were killed in battle, or who were on leave to recuperate from wounds, illness, incarceration, or other services to the Confederate States of America.  Descendants of elected or appointed officials of the Confederate States of America are also eligible for Compatriot membership.  Applicants for Compatriot membership must provide documented proof of their Confederate ancestry. Membership applications may be obtained by contacting any of our Camp officers.

 Legionnaire membership

 

 Legionnaire membership is open to males who do not qualify for Compatriot membership, and is also open to females.

Membership applications may be obtained by contacting any of our Camp officers.

All prospective new Camp members are required to attend at least two meetings prior to joining the Camp.

All Camp members, whether Compatriot or Legionnaire, are encouraged to participate in all Camp events and meetings.
